Double Dutch has been a pastime of youth in America since the end of World War II. Evolving from Africa, Double Dutch is historically a jump rope game played originally by Black children (mainly girls) in rural and urban areas in America. Double Dutch is a game in which two long jump ropes turning in opposite directions are jumped by one or more players jumping simultaneously. Join local jump super star Tiffany for some fun in Roosevelt Park! Ropes will be provided but all are welcome to bring their own!
